This project is for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, for site work and rail systems construction at the Airport Metro Connector in Los Angeles. The scope for this subcontract was for site utilities, design build earth retention (shoring) and earth retention system installation & excavation, and waterproofing. It included procurement & installation of a precast concrete cistern system with the capacity to hold 135,000 gallons of captured storm water. Once in operation, this new station will allow riders to transfer quickly and easily between the LAX new car rental facility, Automated People Mover System, and Metro link rail network.
