Chelsea Liberatore
Senior Underwriter
Chelsea is a Sacramento State Graduate with a degree in Business Finance and minor in Risk Management & Insurance. She has been in the surety industry for four years and is an active member of the Surety Association of Northern California and United Contractors Association.
As a Senior Underwriter, Chelsea has established herself in the surety industry. Her depth of experience has helped her gain an understanding of the construction and commercial surety bond industries, allowing her to cater solutions to the specific needs of clients. She manages accounts of all sizes and has built strong client and surety company relationships. Her client-first mentality ensures that businesses are placed with the proper surety and clients are set up with an appropriate bonding capacity that fits their needs. Chelsea’s financial background allows her to provide valuable support to surety clients, analyze financials as well as coordinate with underwriters and other servicers.
Before her time at CSBA, she played collegiate soccer for the Sacramento State Women’s Soccer team and was nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year in 2018. Outside of work, Chelsea is a philanthropist at heart and is currently a mentor for the Carmichael HART program.
